Long time, no blog...

Sorry it has been awhile... Ryder is still growing and amazing us all the time. However, we have had a hard time disciplining him. He is a HUGE biter and gets in trouble for it at school about everyday. When we get on to him, he just looks at us like we are bugging him and he has so many other things to do than to listen to us. It is so hard! No one tells you about the "pre-terrible twos"! With that said though, he is still as cute as ever. He is learning new words every day, can point out all sorts of items, loves to "help" around the house, and enjoys being outside. But being outside in the Texas summer is miserable so we try to go to the pool alot. But that can be miserable as well. Unfortunately, Ryder is in a stage where he does NOT want me to hold on to him in the water, he will NOT stay in a float, but he can not swim. So our swimming outings do not last very long to say the least. We keep buying different contraptions in hopes that something will get us through this time. I am on the lookout for a "splash pad" pool in our area so that we can take him there and not have to really worry about him swimming and he can just enjoy the water. So, please let me know of anything that can help!
